A Look Inside Our New Grade 1 Summer Camp
告别烂漫的幼儿园时光，一场全新的小学旅程即将开启。面对陌生的校园环境，幼小衔接不仅是学习内容的过渡，更是一场心灵的温柔蓄力。我校新一年级衔接营，以温暖陪伴助力幼小过渡，为孩子们积蓄奔赴新成长的勇气。帮助小萌新建立校园归属感，怀揣好奇与期待，从容叩响小学生活的大门。
Saying goodbye to the carefree days of kindergarten, a brand-new journey through primary school is about to begin.
Faced with an unfamiliar campus, this transition is about more than new learning content. It is also a gentle way of preparing young hearts.
Across two warm days of companionship, our Grade 1 Experience Summer Camp gave children the courage to embrace this new chapter of growth, helped our little newcomers feel that they truly belong, and sent them off full of curiosity and anticipation — ready to knock on the door of primary school life. Knock, knock! Primary school, here we come!
暖心启幕｜以温柔，消解初见的忐忑
A Warm Opening | Let Tenderness Ease the First-Day Nerves
开营仪式是送给新生的第一份仪式感。老师们带着热忱的笑容迎接每一位孩子，专属班牌、姓名标识、班级合影……一个个细腻的小设计，悄悄抚平孩子初入校园的局促不安。当孩子找到属于自己的名字，看见友善亲切的师长，崭新的校园便有了温暖的底色。
The opening ceremony gave our new students their very first taste of school ceremony and belonging. With warm, beaming smiles, school leaders and teachers greeted every child stepping onto campus for the first time.
The class name boards, name tags and class photos - these little thoughtful details quietly smoothed away the children's first-day jitters. When a child found their own name and met their kind, friendly teachers, the brand-new campus began to take on a warm glow.
校园探行｜以脚步，筑牢安心的底气
Campus Exploration | Every Step Builds Confidence
一场趣味满满的校园打卡之旅正式启程。孩子们漫步校园，熟悉教室、操场与各个功能空间，在行走探索中认识未来的学习家园，慢慢建立环境安全感。
日常习惯启蒙同步开展：有序排队、物品收纳、自己的事情自己做，简单的行为练习，让规则意识悄然萌芽。与各科老师亲切会面，认识求学路上的成长领航者，在轻松互动中放下拘谨，收获内心的安定。
A fun-filled campus exploration tour officially set off. The children strolled around the campus, getting familiar with their classrooms, the playground and all the different spaces, discovering the home where they'll learn and grow, and slowly building a sense of security in their new environment.
Daily habit guidance ran alongside: lining up in order, putting things away neatly, and doing things for themselves. These simple everyday practices quietly planted the seeds of an awareness of rules.
The children also had warm meet-and-greets with their subject teachers — the friendly guides of their learning journey ahead. Through relaxed, easy-going interactions, they let go of their shyness and gained a growing sense of calm.

趣味启思｜以探索，点燃好奇的火种
Fun activities inspire thinking｜Ignite curiosity with exploration
本次新生衔接营，以「水」为主题，将启蒙体验融入游戏与实践，孩子们在沉浸式的探索活动中唤醒求知天性，逐步养成良好的学习与生活习惯，从容做好幼小过渡的各项准备。
This summer camp was not about getting ahead of the school curriculum. Centered on the theme of "Water," it wove early-learning experiences into games and hands-on practice, so that, through immersive activities, children could awaken their natural curiosity for learning:
01💧语文·水滴寻韵
Chinese · Droets in Search of Rhyme
跟随绘本开启小水滴的奇妙旅行，听音识文，感受语言之美，种下热爱阅读的种子。
Following a picture book, the children set off on the magical journey of a little water droplet — listening to sounds, recognizing characters and savoring the beauty of language. Along the way, the seed of a love for reading was quietly planted.
02💧数学·水趣思启
Maths - Water fun leads to new questions：
借助水主题趣味实验，引导观察思考，守护孩子与生俱来的探究思维。
Using water experiments, kids thought deeply，explored widely and actively asked questions.
03💧英语·蔚蓝之约
English - The promise of the blue：
海洋情境游戏，鼓励大胆开口表达，在语言互动中建立表达自信，树立环保意识。
With fun games. the kids were inspired to speak confidently and express their ideas without any restrictions. It all led to a question: Is the ocean really safe for animals to live？Let‘s do something to protect the sea. Let’s protect the Earth!

ELA -The water cycle：
英文认知搭配动手实验，亲手搭建水循环模型，在操作中感受科学奥妙。
Building knowledge of the water cycle though experiment, they were immersed in the secret of science.
05💧音乐·听水而歌
Music - Listen to the sound of water
聆听水流之声，借器物奏响水之乐章，捕捉藏在自然里的音乐灵感。
The instruments echoed the sound of water, capturing nature’s inspiration.
06💧体育·逐水同行
P.E. - Keep up with the water：
欢乐的水主题团队游戏，奔跑协作，在运动中感受同伴相伴的快乐。
Water-themed games brought out friendship and teamwork. Let‘s do sports and be healthy！
07💧美术·漾起涟漪
Art - Ripples of drawing：
观察水波涟漪，用画笔自由创作，体悟微小善意亦可泛起温暖涟漪。
Young students observed the ripples of water and drew whatever was on their mind，feeling the warmth and kindness through little waves.
08💧STEAM·探水求真
STEAM · Exploring Water, Seeking Truth:
水科学小探究，动手试错、大胆猜想，沉浸式体验科学探索的乐趣。
Through little water-science experiments, the children got hands-on, tested their ideas and made bold guesses — experiencing the joy of scientific exploration up close.

家校同心｜以携手，共赴成长之约
School & Family, Side by Side | Hand in Hand on the Journey of Growth
教育是家校双向奔赴的旅程。新生衔接营同步开展家校交流会，各科教师与新生家长面对面沟通，分享幼小平稳过渡的陪伴思路。
Education is a journey that school and family walk together. The summer camp also featured a parent–teacher exchange, where subject teachers met the parents of our new students face to face to share ways of supporting a smooth transition into primary school.
黄莹校长以《教育是看见和被看见的过程》为主题带来分享：小学启蒙阶段，不必急于奔赴学业竞速，习惯养成、品格滋养、好奇心保护才是成长的根基。整理书包、规律作息，是独立的开端；乐于提问、友善交往，是心灵的成长养分。学校用心守护，家庭温情陪伴，家校携手同行，方能托举孩子从容迈出小学第一步。
Principal Sunny Huang Ying led a session under the theme, "Education Is a Process of Seeing and Being Seen."
In the early primary years, there is no need to rush into academic competition. Forming good habits, nurturing character and protecting curiosity are the true foundations of growth. Packing your own school bag and keeping a regular routine mark the beginning of independence; asking questions with enthusiasm and making friends with kindness are the nourishment for a growing heart. The school protects with care, and the family accompanies with warmth. Only when the two walk hand-in-hand can children take their first confident steps into primary school.
短短的新生衔接营，是新征程优美的序章。愿孩子们带着在这里收获的勇气、安心与好奇，满怀热忱奔赴崭新的小学时光，向阳而生，自在成长。
This brief two-day summer camp was a graceful prologue to a new journey.
May children embrace their new primary school life with courage, reassurance, curiosity and passion, growing toward the sun and thriving freely.
