寻找初心·拥抱大洋——万源城协和2026小学部洲际嘉年华活动开幕式 Opening Ceremony of the Primary School Intercontinental Carnival

每年秋天，万源协和都会迎来一届洲际嘉年华。自建校以来，嘉年华始终是学年里最庄重的期待：每一届聚焦一个大洲，语文课上，它讲起古老的传说；科学课上，它指向南天的星空；美术课上，它摊开风物的画卷；音乐课上，它教孩子们唱一支新的歌谣。而全校长和陈主任，也年年亲自扮上角色、拿起话筒，与孩子们同台演出、为开幕式主持——走进孩子们中间，陪他们一起长大，也最懂得老师和家长的辛勤付出。同一个大洲，在不同学科的课堂里被一次次打开，中西文化融合，就藏在这一程一程的探究里。

Every autumn, SUIS Wanyuan welcomes a new Intercontinental Carnival. Ever since the school opened its doors, the Carnival has been the most cherished promise of the school year: each edition turns to a new continent. In Chinese class, the continent tells its ancient legends; in science class, it points to the stars of the southern sky; in art class, it unfolds a scroll of its landscapes; in music class, it teaches the children a new song.And every year, Principal Quan and Director Chen put on costumes and take to the stage themselves—performing alongside the children and hosting the opening ceremony, right in the middle of the kids, helping them grow, and seeing firsthand the devotion of every teacher and parent. The same continent opens up again and again across classrooms of every subject—the fusion of Chinese and Western cultures begins here, in one journey of inquiry after another.

大洋洲，宛如一片由海洋、岛屿与多元文化共同编织而成的神奇天地。这里有碧海蓝天下星罗棋布的小岛，有世代传承的历史、歌舞与传说，也有流传于海风与浪涛之间的动人故事。辽阔的海域、独特的风光与多元的文明，共同构成了它独具魅力的文化图景。

Oceania is a magical world woven of oceans, islands and many cultures. Here are green isles scattered across blue seas and skies, histories, songs and legends passed down through generations, and touching stories drifting on the sea wind. Vast waters, unique scenery and diverse civilizations together compose a cultural picture of irresistible charm.

第十三届洲际嘉年

2026年，第十三届洲际嘉年华如约而至。本周，为期两天的洲际嘉年华开幕式精彩启幕：11月5日学生场率先拉开帷幕，11月6日家长场温情登场。开幕大戏音乐剧《海洋心愿》曾于五年前登上协和的舞台；如今，老师们重新拿起当年的剧本，精心打磨，让这部熟悉的作品焕发出崭新的光芒。舞台上，勇敢的莫娜与半神毛伊携手小伙伴们，踏上充满未知与挑战的海洋冒险，在探索中寻找新家园——跌宕起伏的情节、动人的音乐与充满想象力的布景，把观众带入神秘而壮阔的海洋世界。

In 2026, the 13th Intercontinental Carnival arrived as promised. This week, the two-day Oceania Carnival opening ceremony began in style: the student show on November 5th, followed by the parent show on November 6th. The opening musical, Ocean Wishes, first graced the Xiehe stage five years ago; this time, our teachers picked up the original script, polished it with care, and made the familiar work shine with new brilliance. On stage, the brave Moana and the demigod Maui set sail with their little friends on an ocean adventure full of unknowns and challenges, in search of a new home—thrilling plots, moving music and imaginative scenery carried the audience into a mysterious and magnificent ocean world.

学生场上，台下的同学们看得津津有味，随着剧情时而屏息凝神，时而欢笑喝彩，每当精彩的歌舞呈现，现场便响起阵阵热烈的掌声，一浪高过一浪。当莫娜扬起风帆、驶向深蓝，当毛伊的鱼钩划过海天，孩子们悄悄坐直了身子——他们啧啧称奇，眼里闪着光，都想成为故事中的那个角色，像莫娜一样勇敢，像毛伊一样仗义，有一天也站上这方舞台，展示自己的风采。这正是艺术最动人的样子：让孩子在鼓掌的时候，心里悄悄种下追逐梦想、守护家园的种子。

At the student show, the young audience watched with delight, holding their breath at the tense moments and bursting into laughter and cheers at the joyful ones; whenever a wonderful song or dance appeared, wave upon wave of warm applause rolled through the hall. As Moana raised her sail toward the deep blue and Maui’s hook swept across the sea and sky, children quietly sat up straighter—eyes shining, marveling—each of them longing to become a character in the story, brave like Moana, true like Maui, and to one day to stand on that very stage, showing off a light of their own. This is what art does best: while a child’s hands are still clapping, seeds of chasing dreams and guarding home are quietly planted in the heart.

家长场上，小演员们精神饱满、全情投入，以自信的表达、灵动的舞姿和真挚的情感，把角色演绎得鲜活生动；武术队与舞蹈校队的联袂出场，让刚劲的招式、曼妙的舞姿与音乐剧巧妙相融，将气氛一次次推向高潮。在座的家长们为孩子们深深折服，欣慰于在万源协和大家庭中成长的孩子是如此幸福，也向台前幕后的老师们致以深深的敬意——从前期策划、内容筹备，到演员排练、音乐编排、舞蹈设计、武术助阵、美术与道具制作，再到技术支持和现场组织，每一个环节都凝聚着团队的智慧与创意，家长志愿者亦功不可没。

At the parent show, the young performers gave their all—confident voices, lithe movements and sincere feeling brought every character vividly to life. The martial arts team and the school dance troupe took the stage together, weaving powerful strikes and graceful steps into the musical and lifting the atmosphere to one climax after another. The parents were deeply impressed—heartened that children growing up in the SUIS Wanyuan family are so blessed, and full of respect for the teachers on stage and behind the scenes: from early planning and content preparation, to casting rehearsals, music arrangement, dance design, martial arts support, art and prop making, and on to technical support and on-site organization, every step reflected the team’s wisdom and creativity—with parent volunteers proving just as indispensable.

开幕式落幕，嘉年华的探究才刚刚起航。这是一场快乐与幸福的庆典，一场多元文化交流与融合的盛会，更是一系列跨学科的探究学习：在接下来的课堂学习、综合探究、动手实践与成果展示中，孩子们将继续走进大洋洲的岛屿风貌、自然生态、海洋文化，以及原住民族的历史、传统与生活智慧，在不同学科的联结中发现知识的乐趣，在合作与实践中收获成长。

As the curtain fell, the Carnival’s journey of inquiry had only just set sail. It is a celebration of joy and happiness, a gathering of multicultural exchange and fusion, and above all a series of cross-disciplinary inquiries: in the classroom learning, comprehensive exploration, hands-on practice and presentations to come, the children will move closer to the islands, the wildlife and the ocean culture of Oceania, and to the history, traditions and living wisdom of its indigenous peoples—finding the joy of knowledge in the connections between subjects, and growing through cooperation and practice.
